Unlike all the other pairs of Asics (granted they have been running shoes) I've owned over the last decade, this particular style of tennis shoe hurts. I'm not the only one who finds this to be the case. The forefront of the shoe bends into the foot, and I cannot image that any amount of breaking in will solve the problem. The owner of a tennis supply store in town told me that many people are finding this to be the case w/ this particular style.
